Wednesday, February 7, 2024 I went skiing today at Belleayre . First time in five years. It was great. I've been working out to get ready for it, and was concerned maybe I'm finally too old, but it's good. My body remembers how to ski. And being in shape makes the difference. No doubt at some point I will be too old for it. But not yet. And the snow was really good, for the east. Packed powder, very little ice. No lift lines. Sometimes a little crowded on the slopes but about the same as any ski area in the west. It pays to go on weekdays if you can. Hey! The work continues on Reusable Components. Last week I worked mostly on supporting multiple products in my platform. This week, I'm working on the content for the Reusable Components update (coming sometime in March). While plans can change, here's my plan for the update: It will be in the same format that the Clean Components Toolkit has. A focus on how to reuse components specifically, covering the 6 Levels of Reusability along with a bunch of other patterns and tools. Composables and logic are covered in Clean Components Toolkit, and I hope to do more with them in the future, but not right now.
