Sunday, April 5, 2026 The discourse about WordPress # I love all the new discourse about WordPress. # It was so quiet until this week, now I'm getting a much better view of the landscape. # I started developing seriously around WordPress almost three years ago. I've been developing this kind of software since the late 80s if you can believe that. # What's missing on the web -- software for writers. # I believe more all the time that WordPress is the natural way to store and present writing on the web and hook up to all the social webs, to actually redefine what a social web is. There should just be one social web, btw -- not 18. If there are 18 and they don't interop with each other then none of the deserve to call themselves the web.
